Prams Pound Pavement for Pink Ribbon Day
On Monday 24th October at 10:30am a group of Sunshine Coast parents will be taking to the pavement with prams, scooters and bicycles from Alex Surf Club to Mooloolaba Spit to raise Cancer and healthy living awareness in support of the Cindy Mackenzie Breast Cancer Foundation.
Against the stunning backdrop which is the Sunshine Coastʼs Alex/Mooloolaba Coastline, Mums, Dads and kids will take to the streets in a colourful display that is sure to capture everyoneʼs attention. The walk concludes with a lunch at Mooloolaba Spit, proudly donated by Hot Pipis Mooloolaba and Design a Cup Cake Party.
Rebecca Mugridge Author of The Pram Diet (Winner 2011 Best Product - Ausmumpreneur Awards) together with Lara Hodgson of SunnyCoastKids (Ausmumpreneur Awards finalist) were looking for a fun and interesting way to not only raise awareness of the fight against Breast Cancer but also to stress the importance of eating healthy, getting some exercise and enjoying each day.
