Pinnaroo Park Working Bee
Noosa Junction's popular Pinnaroo Park will be receiving lots of TLC when the first of a series of Rotary-backed working bees takes place there on the morning of Sunday, April 17th.
Councillor Peter McGregor is keen to encourage interested local residents to join the volunteers, Rotarians and Council representatives who will gather at the Noosa Heads Post Office entrance to the Park at 8.00 am for their half-day effort.
"Rotary International is now celebrating 100 years of service to communities," explained Cr McGregor, "and the restoration of Pinnaroo Park is the project chosen by the Rotary Club of Noosa to make the centenary.
"Participants should bring along :
• thick soled footwear
• garden gloves
• hat & long sleeved shirt
• water bottle
• sunglasses and/or safety glasses
and are guaranteed food, fellowship and the knowledge that their efforts have helped beautify this little corner of our Shire, for the pleasure of this and future generations."
