Sarah Sullivan with her QLD Eisteddfod Champion Soprana Award.

People are invited to a Pleasant Sunday Afternoon concert on June 2nd, starting at 2pm in the CCSA Hall, Nutley St., Caloundra.

These monthly concerts are always a lot of fun,  and show-case some of the best Coast performers.

On the first Sunday of  June (2nd) , the variety will be exceptional with artists which include: Neil Bidner (who will masquerade as a couple of costumed characters): Sarah Sullivan (many times QLD Eisteddfod's Champion Soprano): Windsong Harmony (a wind ensemble, comprising oboe, French horn, flute, bass clarinet and bassoon): Cadenza (an "a cappella" singing group): Bruce Mitchell (piano accordionist who will play some Scottish reels): Bev Gourlay (singer of quirky songs): Aart Schouten (singer and Bev's helping hand) and pianist Beryl Meyers. Adding to this smorgasboard of talent, will be some items from the Caloundra Chorale's next production, titled "The Guys and Dolls of Broadway". What more could anyone want!

It's wonderful entertainment for only $9 or $5 for Friends of the Chorale, payable at the door.  And this includes afternoon tea.

No need to book, since there's plenty of seats (and this month there'll be adequate parking).

People are encouraged to wear a name tag - we remember your face, but not your name!
