At this variety concert, a Celtic band will play the Irish fiddle /guitar /ukulele and also sing rollicking songs. This is virtually a re-forming of the “Kilkenny” group which performed nationally and internationally in the 1980s and 90s as one of Australia’s top Celtic groups.
Leader, Carmel, won the Instrumentalist of the Year at the 2016 Australian Celtic Music Awards, and is currently the fiddle player for the Irish band Mooncoin who play at O’Malley’s every fortnight.
Other Artists include singers Bev Gourlay, Aart Schouten, Robyn Streiner, and Trevor Mitchell, the Ghekko Broth-ers, accordionist Christina Hanley and 2 young dancers.
$10 Admission at the door includes afternoon tea.

Everyone is invited to the CCSA Hall in Nutley Street, Caloundra for these very entertaining, wonderful, inexpensive-but-rich-in-talent, variety concerts.
