SORRY SORRY SORRY

DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER THE HARVEST PICNIC ON SUNDAY 7TH JUNE HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO A DATE IN THE NEAR FUTURE

THE NOOSA SLOW FOOD COMMITTEE  REGRETS THE INCONVENIENCE BUT HOPES TO HOLD THE FUNCTION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

Slow Food Noosa invites you to its next function, a HARVEST PICNIC to celebrate our delicious local hinterland produce, and also to raise funds for our second School Kitchen Garden project at the Perigian Community College.

You will be able to purchase a delicious picnic from an impressive spread of Slow Food member's stalls.

Make your choice from the following, even better try them all to donate more to the permaculture garden.

PIZZA from Katrina Ryan of the Spirit House using an authentic wood-fired oven

PASTA from Belinda Tuckwell of Ma Mensa serving her homemade pasta with a special sauce

SPIT-ROAST LAMB prepared by Nick Zanapoulis of Belmondos with TURKISH

BREAD from the Essential Ingredient

SALADS prepared by our equally talented Leader Daniel Mosedale of the Blue Angel and past Leader Matt Golinski of the Rolling Dolmade

SWISS RACLETTE CHEESE from Christian Noble of Fromart Cheese

PATISSERIE from Jean Jaques Le Faou of Le Bon Delice, Perigian Beach

GELATO from Stacie Lee and Boyd Cahill of Amo Gelato

Then relax with your own BYO drinks and music to entertain you.

The convivium is also organising a Kids Corner to highlight the United Nations Year of the Potato.
There will be a flavour tasting lesson, hands-on fun with jacket baked stuffed potatoes, potato and spoon races, creative potato people and even an introduction to a scarecrow from Leonie Shanahan, out talented Permaculture teacher.
