The Creative 'Stockmarket' and Project Management for creative industries will be the focus of workshops to be staged by Council's Creative Noosa Unit in Cooroy and Noosaville later this month.
The Cooroy workshop will be held at the Victory Hotel in Maple Street on Saturday, August 19th between 1.00 and 5.00 pm. The Noosaville session will be held at the Christian Outreach Centre in Eumundi Road on Wednesday, August 23rd from 9.00 am until 12 noon. Attendance fees for both workshops will be $15 per head.

Creative Noosa's Acting Events co-ordinator Vanessa Doolan describes Shona Cox as a successful role model in the arts and entertainment industry, having established herself as a writer/director/producer of award winning independent film, documentaries and youth theatre workshops.
"Originally from the Sunshine Coast, Shona has travelled extensively, attending and working with major film festivals such as Cannes, the Hollywood Film Festival, Reel Affirmations film festival and the American Film Institute SilverDocs festival," said Ms Doolan. "Shona has returned to the Sunshine Coast to engage in local projects and to establish a creative industries business for emerging artists."
