PROMOTIONS WORKSHOP FOR SUNSHINE COAST SMALL BUSINESSES

Small Business Minister Chris Cummins is encouraging Sunshine Coast small business owners and operators to attend an Effective Advertising and Promotions workshop at the Sunshine Coast State Development Centre at Level 2, CBD Centre, 12 Innovation Parkway, Birtinya, on Tuesday 29th August.

Mr Cummins said the workshop costs $22 and would run from 6-9pm.

"Participants will learn highly practical marketing strategies and solutions, how to sell to the right media and how to monitor and manage promotions," he said.

"The workshop will provide business people with a greater understanding of what advertising is all about and how they can achieve the best results using effective marketing and promotional tools."

Mr Cummins encouraged local, small businesses to contact the Sunshine Coast State Development Centre to find out more about the range of other planning and support services and products on offer.

"The Beattie Government has invested significant funding in the local region to support small business growth and job creation," he said.

"We offer a range of funding programs, as well as workshops and business coaching because we know small business is driving regional economies."
