Put Saturday 18 January in your diary for what is sure to be one fine night of live music in Eumundi, when PSEUDO MIND HIVE perform at The Imperial Hotel in The Bunker, along with ZONG + THE ROYAL ARTILLERY.

After bursting onto the scene in 2017, Pseudo Mind Hive quickly established themselves as a force to be reckoned with - playing some hundred-odd shows in their first 18 months.

The band’s first full length release, ‘From Elsewhere’, showcased a plethora of hypnotic grooves and heavy fuzz-laden riffs that laid the groundwork for much more to follow.

After a sold-out album launch and an exhausted supply of two limited runs of 12” records, the group spent the remainder of 2018 captivating audiences up and down the east coast of Australia with their powerful live performances, gaining an international cult following through the sales of their vinyl records, and an impressive history of both domestic and international supporting slots featuring the likes of Samsara Blues Experiment (GER), Earthless (USA), 1000 Mods (GRE), Stonefield and Psychedelic Porn Crumpets.

Pseudo Mind Hive showed no sign of slowing down in 2019, starting off the year by supporting psychedelic heavyweights Earthless (USA) and 1000 Mods (GRE), alongside releasing a third limited edition pressing of ‘From Elsewhere’ through Copper Feast Records (UK) to satisfy international demand for the album to be brought back into print.

With the addition of organ and synthesisers, they released their sophomore LP ‘Of Seers and Sirens’ through Salty Dog Records to critical acclaim in late 219. A collection of tales from a seafarer's woeful voyage across haunted oceans; confronted with nightmarish creatures of the deep, the twisted fever dreams of a mind in isolation, and the fabric of reality being torn asunder. To mark the occasion, Pseudo Mind Hive are hitting the road for their first headline tour.

A giant ancient stone of unimaginable power and intelligence floats silently through space towards an unsuspecting primitive civilisation.

Zong is a three piece heavy psych band from Brisbane - combining heavy riffage and pummelling rhythms with an experimental and visionary psychedelic approach. Zong aims to create a sonic and visual portal in which listeners can transcend perceived reality and explore new dimensions and states of mind.

The Royal Artillery shell out a unique brand of Heavy Psych-Blues like no other; 60's & 70's guitar fuzz tuned down to C-Sharp with the aggression of 90's riff-rock and metal.

Zed Charles had led the trio since the band's inception in 2006, and is joined by Elijah Lee and Storm Mahan of Chassm.

The band has supported the likes of Nick Oliveri (Queens of the Stoneage) John Garcia (Kyuss) Samsara Blues Experiment (Ger) Red Fang (USA) Sasquatch (USA) DZ Deathrays, Drunk Mums, Child, Grim Rhythm, The Dead Love, Goon on the Rocks and Dallas Frasca.

They picked up Triple J play for singles Rollin & TumblinJohnny Cash Invents the Blues and I Don't Need to Know Your Name and have appeared at festivals including Agnes Blues and Roots, Devil’s Kitchen, Mojo Burning, Wollombi, Dead of Winter and Mudgee Meltdown.
