Caloundra sets perfect scene for landcare conference delegates
The Sunshine Coast's natural scenic beauty that includes the heritage-listed Glass House Mountains and the Pumicestone Passage is the perfect backdrop for the annual Queensland Landcare Conference Celebrating 21 years of Landcare to be held in Caloundra from the 15--17 September.
Sunshine Coast Function Centre, in the heart of the Caloundra RSL entertainment precinct, will host the event that aims to highlight the progress, achievements and future opportunities for one of the strongest community movements in Australia's history.
The conference is expecting 300 delegates with this year's program featuring four field trips exploring the Sunshine Coast and 12 workshop themes covering areas such as sustainable farming systems, indigenous land management, water quality, landcare as business and biodiversity.

Caloundra is at the southern end of the Sunshine Coast, just over an hour's drive north of Brisbane airport. There are also direct flights to the Sunshine Coast Airport from Sydney and Melbourne.
