An invitation to join in a Ceremony of Remembrance of the Indigenous people in relation to the significance of Australia Day, 2017. Dr Ray Barraclough, Convenor of the Australia Day Commemoration Ceremony Committee, invites anyone wishing to share in a ceremony during which a minute's silence will be observed to remember the Indigenous people of this land, who lost their lives in the changing possession of this land that began on the 26 January, 1788.

This Remembrance Ceremony will be held at the RSL Hall, in Bunya Street, Maleny at 1o:00am on Thursday, 26 January, 2017.
