RSPCA Noosa-Sunshine Coast Branch celebrates its 20th anniversary!
Twenty years ago a group of dedicated Sunshine Coast residents recognised the overwhelming need to help the many stray and unwanted animals in the area.
Noosa now has its own Shelter, RSPCA Qld Inspector and the Noosa-Sunshine Coast Friends of the RSPCA Group raised funds to start PAWS, Australia's first mobile de-sexing unit.
To mark this special 20th anniversary, RSPCA Noosa-Sunshine Coast Branch is holding a Celebration luncheon on Wednesday 14th October at the River Deck on Noosa Harbour.
This is a significant anniversary for our local RSPCA. RSPCA Qld CEO Mark Townend and local volunteer fundraisers will be delighted to welcome everyone who has been instrumental in keeping the spirit of twenty years ago alive today and of course all proceeds will go towards the upkeep of the RSPCA Animal Shelter at Doonan.
Guest speaker will be Ann Rickard and Col Noble will provide the entertainment.
The lunch features a delicious two course meal plus extras and wine compliments of De Bortoli, Chocolates by Sweet-Tempered Chocolateria and Cosmetic samples by Saya.
Tickets are just $40 each. You can collect them from the ABC Centre on Sunshine Beach Road, The River Read in Thomas St, Noosaville or The River Deck at Noosa Harbour.
