Australia's Premier Medieval Knight joins Australia's Biggest Castle, The Sunshine Castle welcomes Sir Justyn with a great School Holiday Program! Well known medieval performer and educator, Sir Justyn has teamed up with the Sunshine Castle, to bring a whole new era of medieval entertainment, education and recreation. This is exciting news for the region just in time for the school holidays with some great kids activities on offer. Call in to the Castle these holidays for Sir Justyn's Junior Jousting, Archery or Squire School.
Sir Justyn's Jousting (no bookings required)
Come and enjoy a special day at the Castle. Jousting exercises for your young knight or princess every Monday in the School Holidays. There is a spinning target, catching hoops and lots of medieval fun. For a jousting good time join us!
Archery at the Castle (no bookings required)
The King has declared that all young archers attend the Sunshine Castle on Wednesdays in the School Holidays to learn how to shoot the Medieval longbow (rubber-tip arrows) under the guidance of Sir Justyn. Come dressed as your favourite character such as Robin Hood or Princess Merida.
Squire School (bookings required - limited spaces)
Join Sir Justyn on Fridays during the school holidays in learning skills and duties required of a squire. Including chivalry, sword fighting, jousting and an interactive tour of the Castle. Squires and Maidens receive a Certificate at the end of their training.
Activities require closed toe shoes and a supervising adult.

Justin Webb, better known as Sir Justyn, has been performing and teaching people of all ages about the Middle Ages professionally since 2004, locally, nationally and world wide with a range of groups from schools, seniors, festivals, functions, media, martial arts schools and Living History/re-enactment organizations. He is a qualified coach for archery and medieval combat and is the founder and director of Eslite d'Corps Living History group, Raptor Elite Medieval Martial Arts, the Australian War Bow Society and Sir Justyn Enterprises.
The Sunshine Castle is open 9:30 am to 4:30 pm daily with the self guided tour around the Castle and its exhibits. The Castle Café offers great organic coffee, free range bacon & egg rolls for breakfast, a delicious Lambshank and the Coast's best German Sausage Platter. For an extra treat to take home the Castle is also home to an outlet of Absolut Toys and offers quality toys at affordable prices.
A newly created Treasure Hunt offers three different quests for Castle Explorers. If you want to know how brave Tobi the Knight is and what Princess Sophie gets as a present you will be sure to conquer the Castle and win a treat from the Kings Treasure Chest upon completion
The Sunshine Castle and Sir Justyn are also working on some great other new opportunities and packages with new children's birthday options, school workshops, educational lunches and team building activities planned.
