Each day commences with a Garden tour and explanation of Organics and finishes with Lunch including Organic Wine.
Nestled on 40 acres in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, Fountainhead is located on the Blackall Range just minutes from Maleny. Fountainhead is a Health Spa, an Organic Food and Cooking School and a working Organic Farm.
Over the next couple of years we plan to bring all of Australia's Leading Chef's and some world famous personalities through Fountainhead's Organic Food and Cooking School and ask them to take the challenge. The challenge of providing an organic, fun and healthy meal that can be duplicated at home.
Cooking classes are part of some Health retreat packages and Organic Food and Cooking School can be enjoyed just by itself. Classes commence at 930am Thursday and Saturday and conclude with lunch.
Ben Benz from Turkey joines us regularly for Turkish Classicsl Pide, Baclava and some wonderfull Turkish & Moroccan dips were de-mystified. Ben normally cooks to a full house so book early. Ben returns in November.
SBS's famous "Cooking with Kurma" celebrity Chef Kurma Dasa is now a regular at Fountainhead. Vegetarian cuisine taken to its highest level. Kurma next returns in October.
Jay Mulder, the world famous, "Medicine Man of Eumundi" takes us through Ayurverdic Cooking. This was how to use Food as Medicine, an ancient aproach which is being rediscovered. Serious health issues, or just an interest in food and its history.

Cooking classes are $125 per Guest for first timers including lunch and organic wine and only $85 per Guest for the growing band of returning regulars.THURSDAY ONLY: If you can stay overnight, take a farmhouse room for $225 with B & B. Or bring a friend or partner & take a small cabin with B & B for $245 pp. Add dinner with us only $35 pp.
