SEWING NEWS - Sharing and furthering the art of Sewing in Australia. The Tewantin Neighbourhood Group of the Australian Sewing Guild will meet on Saturday 27th October 2012 at the Masonic Hall, cnr Moorindil & Toolar Sts Tewantin Qld 4565 commencing at 9 am until 3.00 pm.

This month the group will be sewing hats and underarm cushions for Cancer patients. Material and patterns. Supplied. What to bring: Lunch, Overlocker or Sewing machine, scissors and cottons etc. If you have any Buttons, Pom Poms, Flowers or anything you feel would look good that will just gives that finishing touch to the hats.

(not a requirement only if you have these items to spare) If you wish to attend please phone Iris (07) 5415 1448 or Aileen (07) 5455 6959. New members and visitors welcome. Cost for non-members $10. The group meet on the last Saturday of every month in a friendly environment and explore both basic dressmaking and decorative sewing techniques.
