SEWING NEWS – CHRISTMAS PARTY Sharing and furthering the art of Sewing in Australia. The Tewantin Neighbourhood Group of the Australian Sewing Guild will hold their Christmas Party on Saturday 24th October 2012 at the Masonic Hall, cnr Moorindil & Toolar Sts Tewantin Qld 4565 commencing at 9 am until 3.00 pm. Barbara will teach the group how to made a large Snow Flake from paper.
The Christmas Challenge will be judged and the Sewing Room Match Up (pick whose sewing room photograph belong to which member) What to bring: Savoury or Sweet Plate to share for Lunch, tiny stapler and paper scissors.
The group meet on the last Saturday of every month in a friendly environment and explore both basic dressmaking and decorative sewing techniques. A variety of workshop are organised throughout the year.
This will be the last meeting for 2012. The next meeting will be on the last Saturday in January 2013 If you would like to visit or join this group next year please ring Aileen (07)5455 6959.
