The choir will perform a collection of tunes from popular musicals, including "My Fair Lady", "Miss Saigon" and a selection from the ever-popular work of Andrew Lloyd-Weber.
"Showtime" will also feature two guest artists, Dominique Fegan and Zac Ansley. Dominique is a classically-trained singer who grew up on the Sunshine Coast and has just returned to Australia after a series of performances in England. Her most recent and much-acclaimed role was the lead in La Traviata. Zac Ansley is a local lad who played the lead in Immanuel Lutheran College's production of "Oliver!" and featured as a solo artist in the recent "Sunshine Coast Show Arena Spectacular". Both artists have generously donated their time and talent to help the Nambour Chorale Society raise money for the Fred Hollows Foundation.
So, for a mere $6, you will enjoy an great afternoon of toe-tapping show-tunes, a scrumptious spread at afternoon tea - and be helping to "eradicate avoidable blindness in developing countries" at the same time!
