Suncoast Sinfonia FLUTES TO THE FORE!

Conducted by Graeme Young and led by acclaimed musical identity Julie-Anne O'Reilly, the Suncoast Sinfonia will present their final concert for 2005 at St Mark's Anglican Church in Buderim on Sunday 13 November at 2.30pm.
The concert, Flutes to the Fore! features prominent Brisbane flautist, Karen Lonsdale.
Karen has performed as an orchestral flautist with many renowned conductors. She has performed regularly as Guest/Acting Principal Flute with the Queensland Orchestra, (previously Queensland Symphony and Philharmonic Orchestras) and as Guest Associate Principal Flute with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. She has performed with the Munich Symphony, North West German Philharmonic, Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra, Melbourne Philharmonic Orchestra and the Australian Entertainment Orchestra as well as playing in pit orchestras for numerous theatre productions.
Karen's love of pop and jazz styles has seen her perform as back-up for many of Australia's best known performers including Tommy Emmanuel, Grace Knight, Julie Anthony, Tommy Tycho, Simon Gallaher, Jon English, Marina Prior, to name a few.
