Business women celebrate in the spirit of giving
More than 200 business women from across the coast will join the Sunshine Coast Business Women's Network on Tuesday, December 11 for a festive breakfast bash to celebrate what has been a successful year.
The event will include a special presentation to the network's chosen charity for 2007, The Sunshine Coast Children's Therapy Centre, who provide an invaluable service to the community.
Sunshine Coast Business Women's Network President, Karen Neuendorf says that the network has really got behind and supported the organisation through a number of fund raising activities throughout the year.
"The Sunshine Coast Therapy Centre do an amazing job in supporting children with physical, intellectual and sensory disabilities - we are extremely proud to be involved in supporting such a remarkable organisation," said Karen.
The Sunshine Coast Business Women's Network is committed to giving back to the community and this Christmas the organisation is urging all those attending the breakfast to support those less fortunate during this festive season by donating a small unwrapped gift to a child or mother for the annual toy collection for Lion's Emergency Shelter at Nambour.
"It's that time of year and while everyone is getting into the festive mood, celebrating, and enjoying a bit of Christmas cheer there couldn't be better time for giving," said Karen.
"The end-of-year breakfast is usually one of our biggest events and this year will be no different with loads of fun and surprises in store."
The breakfast is proudly sponsored by the Sunshine Coast Private Hospital and will be held in the Wandiny Room at the Novotel Twin waters Resort from 6:30am on December 11. All members attending will receive a special Christmas gift.
The cost of this event is $35 for members and $50 for non-members. Please book by calling Chelsea Hunter on 0412 525 854. Book early to avoid disappointment, all bookings are to be received by 11 am on December 5.
