The Sunshine Coast Cycling Club is holding its Club Championships commening this weekend with a series of 4 races, to be held over two weekends. Points will be awarded from 1st place down to 5th place with the highest total of points over the 4 races winning the Club Champion. The first race of the series is to be held at Yandina commencing at 2.00pm.on Saturday 21st August. Distances are as follows.
A Grade 80K 2.00pm
B Grade 60K 2.02pm
C Grade 50K 2.04pm
D Grade 40K 2.06pm
Juniors 2.08pm On Sunday racing will be a Criterium at Kunda Park commencing at 7.30pm with distances as follows:
A Grade 60minutes plus 2 laps 9.45am
B Grade 50 minutes plus 2 laps 8.40am
C Grade 35 minutes plus 2 laps 8.00am
D Grade 20 minutes plus 2 laps 7.30am
Juniors 10 minutes plus 2 laps 9.30am
It is requested that all members register a minimum of 30 minutes prior to racing. Racing next weekend will be held at Lake Weyba on Saturday 28th August at 2.00pm followed by a 24k Time Trial at Mudjimba on Sunday 29th August at 7.30am.
