Sunshine Coast Council’s Stockland Stadium is gearing up for an historic clash this Easter Sunday with the Sunshine Coast Falcons hosting Intrust Super Cup newcomers Papua New Guinea Hunters.
Kicking off at 2pm, the Falcons will be playing their first televised game of the season against an exciting PNG team who have heated up the competition.
The Falcons are yet to play PNG in the Intrust Super Cup competition and an exciting match is expected as the Hunters come into the game following a 36-26 victory over Tweed Heads. Currently sitting sixth on the ladder, they will be looking for a win over the Falcons this Sunday.
The day promises great rugby league action and live entertainment at one of South East Queensland’s best venues. The Red Bull DJ will take care of the tunes and the Papua New Guinea Dance Troupe will provide the pre-match entertainment with their showcase of traditional dances.
For children there will be a bouncing castle and face painting − with the Easter Bunny making an appearance, handing out eggs throughout the day.
With something for all of the family, what better way to spend Easter Sunday.
