Damien Pascoe has been studying Tibetan Thangka Art for the past 6 years. Having studied and practiced western art for many years, Damien was introduced to the art of Thangka painting by Andy Webber. More recently he trained intensively at Tsering Art School in Kathmandu, Nepal. This first workshop in the series will focus on how to draw the Buddha Shyakamuni using the traditional thangka system of grids and measurements.
No particular drawing experience is necessary and the class is open to people of any age. Children under the age of 12 may attend for free
