Following a triumphant national tour in 2000, concerts with the Tasmanian Symphony and Adelaide Symphony Orchestras in 2001 and a performance with the Sydney Symphony last year, THE 3 DIVAS return to the stage with a new line up, a new look and new exciting concert.
Rosemary Boyle, who is a winner of the Sun Aria and has starred in major roles in opera as well as musical theatre, has joined Judi Connelli and Suzanne Johnston to present The 3 DIVAS at the Nambour Civic Centre on Friday 9 July. A three course meal is included in the ticket price of $66.
What a line up!
Judi Connelli is one of Australia's most versatile and respected talents who has enjoyed a diverse range of performances during the past 30 years including principal roles for Opera Australia and numerous musicals. She has had a spectacular cabaret career including several seasons in London and New York. Judi's prestigious awards include three MO's, a Green Room Award, the New York Dramalogue Award and the New York Bistro Award.
Suzanne Johnston is widely recognized for her rare ability to perform with great success in opera, musicals and concerts. She has appeared in many leading roles with Opera Australia, on the international circuit in London, Paris, Milan, New York and Los Angeles. Suzanne has received several Green Room Awards, a MO Award and a Sydney Theatre Critics' Award for Operatic Performance of the Year.
Recently Judi and Suzanne made their first collaborative album 'Perfect Strangers' with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. The album was honoured with an Aria Award.
Rosemary Boyle has won several major Australian vocal competitions including this country's most prestigious vocal award, The Sun Aria, the same award which launched the career of Dame Kiri Te Kanawa. Rosemary joined the Victoria State Opera where she had major roles in many operas. In musical theatre, she starred as Mabel in the smash hit production of The Pirates of Penzance which toured Australia. Rosemary is equally at home in cabaret and concert, having sung with all the major Symphony Orchestras, the Australian Pops Orchestra, the Australian Army Bands and various Chamber Orchestras throughout Australia and overseas.
Julia de Plater is a graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and will accompany THE 3 DIVAS on the grand piano. Julia has conducted many operas for Opera Australia and has had vast experience conducting in many musical genres including the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, the Australian Opera and

Three very classy ladies with famously beautiful voices deliver a repertoire comprising of a wide selection of popular music, music theatre and familiar tunes that are poignant, moving and uplifting and at times ridiculous and mad.
