Ayurvedic medicine is one of the world's oldest medical systems. It originated in India more than 3,000 years ago and remains one of the country's traditional health care systems. Its concepts about health and disease promote the use of herbal compounds, special diets, and other unique health practices.
India's government and other institutes throughout the world support clinical and laboratory research on Ayurvedic medicine. Join Eumundi Medicine Man Jay Mulder for a day of exploring the Ayurvedic approach to health and wellbeing. Saturday 18 February 9.00 am - 3.30 pm, at the Wellbeing Centre at Chenrezig Institute.
Facility fee $75 10% discount for concession card holders. Meals must be booked before 9.30 am on the day of the event. Jay D Mulder hold a Bachelor of Complementary and Herbal Medicine, a Diploma of Herbalism and Nutrition, a Certificate IV of Ayurveda and an Ayurvedic Clinical Certificate from Dr Rajan Coopan.
Jay regularly meets professors of Ayurveda and scholars in India to discuss the philosophical concepts of Ayurveda. For the past ten years, Jay has taught the Ayurvedic Lifestyle course and instructed the Advanced Diploma of Ayurvedic Medicine course at East Coast TAFE, and the College of ACE BMS.
Chenrezig Institute is a not for profit Buddhist study & retreat Centre in the Hinterland. Which also offers a Wellbeing Centre for non-religious courses towards health & happiness.
