The Sunshine Coast Symphony Orchestra's July/winter concert this year features some amazing heavy-weights from the Baroque period – Albinoni, Vivaldi, J.S. Bach. Once more our orchestra, conducted by Adrian King, provides nourishment for the soul and inspiration for the intellect with its choice of music to uplift the spirit.

Make sure you book early to purchase tickets to attend this wonderful concert featuring two gifted and talented young violinists from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music – Julia Hill and Donica Tran - in a stunning performance of J.S. Bach's Concerto in D minor for two violins.

In addition to this stellar performance, in-house Sunshine Coast Symphony Orchestra musicians Lloyd Robins and Nelson Oakley will present Vivaldi's Concerto for Two Trumpets, strings and harpsichord.

Other exciting works include Albinoni's inimitable and much-loved Adagio for organ and strings; J.S. Bach's Suite in D, featuring trumpets, oboes and strings, and finally the Arrival of the Queen of Sheba by G.F. Handel. Truly a concert not to be missed. Afternoon Tea provided for purchase from the TS Onslow Navy Cadets.

Tickets are available through the orchestra's web-site www.sunshinecoastsymphonyorchestra.com or T 5445-3703. Also at the Old Buderim PO (from 13th June).
