Currimundi Primary School will stage The Great Fete on Saturday 5th August, 2017, 10am-3pm. The Fete will feature a skateboarding competition, "The Great Fete Skate", sponsored by Boardstore and Four Eyewear.

It will feature an inclusive & participation based skate competition, celebrating all skaters' skills at level. There will be some low cost 'come and try' lessons with professional skateboarding coaches, as well as skate demos from local Pro Skateboarders and our very own Currimundi State School Skateboarders!

A lego building competition where children get to showcase their imagination and engineering skills will form part of the fete. There will be peoples' choice as well as professional judges' awards. Great prizes in various age categories can be won.

There's a monster raffle with eight fabulous prizes to be won, including a holiday in Byron Bay, NSW with $200 cash spending money. The raffle will be drawn at the end of the day.

The Great Fete will also have the usual carnival favourites such as awesome inflatable rides, market stalls, eco alley, community stalls, food stalls, cake stall, fairy floss, popcorn, ice cream, side-show alley type activities and stage performers.

Entertain your family for 5 fun-filled hours, and maybe win something too! Unlimited rides passes are discounted if pre-purchased by Friday, 28th July. For more information contact– Alice Taylor-Tighe on 0400 126 178
