SEWING NEWS

THE TEWANTIN NEIGHBOURHOOD GROUP of the Australian Sewing Guild -- known as The Guilded *Lilies* Sewing Circle. *(Ladies industriously learning interesting exciting sewing). Will be meeting on Saturday 24th April 2010 commencing at 9.00 am until 3.00 pm at the Masonic Hall, cnr of Moorindil and Toolar Streets, Tewantin, Qld 4565.

Kerryn Swan from Kerryn"s Fabric World" Known as "The Doctor of Dress" will give a presentation on Wardrobe Planning, Colour and Style. 10 --12 members will have their colour palette demonstrated at the meeting and will learn how to work with their natural colouring.

The Tewantin Group has a regular program with a different topic each month. For the prospective new members, the group is made up of enthusiastic people, with varying skills from the novice to the specialist. Members bring their sewing machines and lunch and in a friendly environment explore both basic dressmaking and decorative sewing techniques.
