Saturday 30 June will see the inaugural HINTERLAND CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL at The Imperial Hotel Eumundi from 12noon til 8pm.
Beer lovers will be pleased to know it’s FREE ENTRY to the event.
If you love making beer, learning about beer, talking beer, and, of course, tasting beer, then you most certainly ought to save the date for what is sure to be your kind of afternoon.
This boutique event will bring together top brewers from across the Sunshine Coast, including Land & Sea Brewing, Copperhead Brewery, Macleod Brewing, Sunshine Brewery, Sunshine Coast Brewery, Brouhaha Brewery, Stalwart Brewing and of course, Eumundi Brewery.
They'll be sharing insight into what makes their beers taste so damn fine and how they do it.
A special Brewers Q & A session is scheduled for 2pm on the day. This will be a chance to learn more about the science of making beer and how particular brews are fine-tuned.
The hotel will also offer free Brewery Tours throughout the afternoon for those keen to see behind-the-scenes of the Eumundi Brewery.
But it’s not all about the beer! The festival will see local artists Rene McGovern, Greg Beasley and Zoe Martin showcase their work on the day and host live art demonstrations.
To accompany the sensational brews, there will be some seriously tasty street food on hand, street performers and a program of live music and grooves throughout the afternoon and into the evening.
If you have a competitive streak, you’ll be happy to hear the hotel will have a special Pinball Lane set up for the day, as well as a raft of old skool pub games. Save the date, and spread the word. It’s going to be one helluva fun day.
