Discover how singing in harmony is created
Internationally celebrated vocal group, The Idea of North returns to The Noosa Longweekend by popular demand with a new workshop in a capella singing.
Inviting those with intermediate and above levels of singing experience, the quartet will share their professional knowledge and experience in creating vocal arranging.
They will perform live their magnificent singing to illustrate the wide variety of arranging techniques. You will be taught a four part song in groups and guided to create your own original arrangements -culminating in a performance, feedback and an opportunity for questions.
This workshop will be a joy for anyone who sings, reads music, can hold a part and has always longed to sing a cappella.
The Idea of North singers; Sally Cameron, soprano; Nick Berbie, tenor; Naomi Crellin, alto; and Andrew Piper, bass.
