For the third year in a row, The McClymonts have won the Golden Guitar for 'Best group or Duo' at the 37th CMAA Country Music Awards of Australia. There were also nominated for APRA Song Of The Year 'Shotgun', Single Of The Year for 'Finally Over Blue' and Album of the Year for Chaos and Bright Lights.
The most recent single 'Shotgun' is getting played on radio stations around Australia and the accompanying clip has debuted at number 16 on the CMC chart.
These three sisters from Grafton on the NSW north coast of Australia have spent their young lives pursuing their musical dreams. The McClymonts were finally able to unleash their musical alchemy and soaring vocal perfection when they were found and signed by Universal Music Australia and released their first self titled EP in June 2006.
In June 2007 the girls, Brooke, Sam and Mollie, had the privilege of working with some of Nashville's finest musicians and hit record producer Adam Anders to record their debut album "Chaos and Bright Lights" which saw the girls walk away with their 2nd 'Group Of The Year' Golden Guitar Award in Tamworth 2008.
Now back in the states recording their eagerly anticipated second album, they have been awarded the coveted Mo award. They will be back in Australia touring again in the new year aiming to create their own music history, one that is rich with magical voices, heartfelt lyrics and unforgettable melodies
