A sinister comedy - dare you to guess the murderer!
The Lind Lane Theatre has great pleasure in presenting this comedy/thriller by playwright, Norman Robbins
Old man Tomb is dead. The family’s trusted lawyer, Penworthy, pours himself a drink amid the howls from the resident werewolf, Oliver Tomb, locked safely away down in the family vaults. The other members of the Tomb family, however, live very much above ground.
Lucien Tomb tinkers in his laboratory insisting that he is the head of the family and quite enjoys dwindling the wildlife numbers in the area with his potions. Dora Tomb, on the other hand, appears to be a gentle old lady but delights in killing people off with her poisonous brews. She has a very interesting garden. Emily Tomb dresses as a man and bosses everyone she can and has a mouth like a foghorn.
Marcus Tomb is completely bonkers and believes he's Julius Caesar. Then there is Monica Tomb, she loves men and could eat a whole one for breakfast. Included in the list of beneficiaries, the family nurse Anne Franklin and the devoted but sinister housekeeper Agatha. To the family’s astonishment there is to be another beneficiary, a romantic novelist Miss Ash and her secretary Peregrine Potter
With laughs and dead bodies in profusion, who will survive to inherit the millions? This comedy-thriller will keep audiences guessing as it twists and turns to its surprising conclusion. This is a comedy not to be missed.
