Toys Tell Tales at the Gallery

Come to the Gallery with the whole family for a creative, relaxing and fun day by the beautiful Noosa River. Bring your favourite toy for Show and Tell, sculpt your toy in clay and/or paint it with the terrific Arting About team. Make Christmas cards and decorations inspired by your toy.

Toys Tell Tales
This exhibition includes toys fragments recovered from the archaeological dig at Mill Point, Lake Cootharaba, the Shire's first European settlement. University of Queensland Ph. D student and archaeologist Steve Nichols says "The toys are fascinating as they tell the tale of those we do not see when we consider the history of European settlement. They tell the stories of children." Other toys in the exhibition which features the heritage and well-loved toys of Noosa shire residents.
