Winter Go Bush Programme

'Go Bush' this winter in SEQ parks and forests

Join a Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) ranger on a 'Go Bush' activity in south-east Queensland parks and forests this winter and discover the wonders of nature first-hand.

QPWS Ranger Cheryl Thomson said the ongoing program offered opportunities to enjoy activities only Queensland's national parks and forests could provide.

"Check out what's happening in your south-east Queensland parks — you'll be amazed at what's out there," Miss Thomson said.

"This winter you can explore the rainforest at Kondalilla National Park or take a walk around the Glass House Mountains.

"Kids can join a Backyard Ranger activity at Glass House Mountains National Park. Night walks are always popular at Noosa, Glass House Mountains and Kondalilla National Parks, so book early!"

"School holidays are full of fun activities for the kids, with activities being run at various locations around the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Gold Coast."

To find out more about the Go Bush program or to make a booking, call 1300 723 684 or go to www.epa.qld.gov.au/parks_and_forests.
