The Tewantin Neighbourhood Group of the Australian Sewing Guild next meeting is on Saturday, 26th April at 9 am at the Masonic Hall, cnr Moorindil & Toolar Streets, Tewantin. The theme for this months meeting will be 'Vera's Crazy Patchwork Bathmat'. There is a small fee to cover the cost of the hall this includes tea and coffee (plus some scrumptious cakes provided by Beryl Measor).

The Guild is a non-profit organisation with the aim of bringing sewers together in an informal atmosphere so that they can share their interest and maintain a high standard of craftsmanship, with varying skills from novices to specialists. The Tewantin Group meets on the last Saturday of the month. Members receive a Newsletter monthly, which provide information regarding what materials to bring for the various projects for each meeting, plus news of any regional sewing activities.
