For ten years, Marco has travelled Australia with his original poetry and comedy performances.
He is a record 4 times winner of the Tamworth Country Music Festival Poetry Performance Award.
His contemporary images and easy listening repertoire have earned him The Spirit of Matilda Award held in conjunction with the 100 year anniversary of Waltzing Matilda.
In 2001 Marco was commissioned to write a poem to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the The Federation of Australia.
In 2008 he was voted Australian Women's Weekly's best modern day bush poet.
