WALLACE HOUSE'S BIG CANCER BEATING CUPPA
A special cup of tea will be offered as Wallace House's contribution to the Cancer Council's "Big Morning Tea" program.
The host for the party is none other than the incomparable party thrower Judy Chipperfield. Judy's reputation is renowned for giving some of the most memorable functions in the Wallace House of past times. The lady is still partying hard and has taken on this role once again.
Of special mention is the designer tea "Eumun-tea" well known to connoisseurs of fine foods in the area. "Eumun-tea" is blended by Jo Kelso who has spent many hours refining her tea. She will be well protected from any cancer herself, having taken in volumes of antioxidant from her tea tasting activities.
A cup of tea and something to eat on the veranda at Wallace House is also something special. The view is beautiful and it is reminiscent of the past history of the house where the previous owners themselves would have enjoyed many cups of tea.
The cuppa can be sipped while taking the opportunity to visit the art gallery. The Artists for the month of April, Elke Shulze is still exhibiting. The new artists for this month of May are Audrey Biddulph (Oil ) and Joan Wastell (Watercolour). Their fabulous works are on display at the top of the staircase. The Showcase will be open as will be the Pottery Gallery.
Members will be very happy to show off the wonderful place that is Wallace House to visitors.
The "Big Morning Tea" can be experienced at Wallace House, Wallace Drive, Noosaville on Friday May 27th at 10.00 am. Everyone is welcome and there is an entry fee of $5.00.
All proceeds go to the Cancer Council.
