Then head up our beautiful steps for a tour of the grounds and meditation. Refresh yourself with our famous chai and cake for morning tea before heading back to the temple to find our why "Buddhism is better than chocolate" in Geshela's teaching. Join us for a delicious vegetarian lunch in the Big Love Café, stroll through our beautiful Garden of Enlightenment, relax to the beautiful music of special guest Bart Stenhouse or head back to the Art Studio for a workshop on traditional Buddhist painting that everyone can enjoy.

The Institute is home to a Tibetan Geshe (Lama), a large community of ordained Sangha (monks and nuns), students, residents, volunteers, retreat goers and guests. Apart from the formal study programmes, Chenrezig Institute is a peaceful, calm and relaxing place to spend a few hours, days or weeks.
Stroll along the bush paths, wander in formal garden, espresso in the cafe or a vegetarian meal. Also below the far carpark is our new addition 'The Wellbeing Centre' which provides courses focusing on cultivating physical, emotional and mental balance and wellbeing.
