The University of the Sunshine Coast, in partnership with Sunshine Coast Council, presents the 'What Works' Conference. 'What Works' will bring together key regional stakeholders, academics and professionals from across a wide range of sectors to contribute their expertise to supporting a sustainable economic future for the Sunshine Coast.
A keynote address will be provided by Chris Richardson, of 'Access Economics'. Original research will also be presented that identifies successful economic and community strategies in comparable Australian regions.
In interactive sessions, the conference will focus on both the current main sectors of our local economy and identify exciting opportunities in a number of emerging sectors.
The outcomes will be well based coordinated strategies informing both the public and private sectors in our region and beyond.
If you have an interest in and commitment to the Region and its future, and a willingness to contribute your own expertise, this conference is an absolute must.
