We know that when anger isn't addressed, we either explode with volatile words or behaviors or implode into depression and alienation. Is there another way to process, even to use, this intense experience? Buddhism says yes and offers many tools for examining and transforming situations that would normally provoke us. During this weekend course there will be presentations, meditations, discussions and personal exercises to meet this emotion in a different – less harmful and more effective way.
Explore ways to diffuse aggression and hostility while still keeping energy and momentum. Deal with the disappointments in life productively by learning how each painful moment can actually be a tool to open the heart to greater degrees of compassion for both oneself and others. VenerableYönten will facilitate this course in an experiential way that invitesquestions and collaboration as well as providing tried and true ancienttechniques in a modern and accessible format. Everyone is welcome and this course is suitable for those who are new to Buddhism.
