WED is a celebration of environment and community. Held on occasion of World Environment Day (WED) the festival is a fun free family day out that showcases the beautiful natural environment of the Sunshine Coast and the amazing work that is being done in the community, private and public sector to create a sustainable community.
So come along for a great day out, savor the food, get close to wildlife, test your knowledge, enjoy the music and above all....
How to get there Sustainably
Walk the talk! If you care for the environment then get out of the car and use a sustainable form of transport to get to the festival. Reduce your emissions for the day and walk, cycle, carpool or catch the bus. And if you travel sustainably you could win a bike! Visit the TravelSmart tent in the Sunshine Coast Council display area of the festival to enter the draw. Read more .....
