World Oceans Day is our planet’s biggest celebration of the oceans we all share. UnderWater World will be celebrating and promoting World Oceans Day all this week from Monday 4th June to Sunday 10th June and simply by coming along and discovering all about our oceans you can enter a fantastic competition.
From Monday 4th June to Sunday 10th June, UnderWater World will be hosting two very special talks called the World Ocean Day Talk at noon and 3pm. UnderWater World is at the forefront of ocean education, and offers a wealth of information and tips on how the average person can help to protect the sea environment. Guests will also be encouraged to enter a competition to find fish throughout the aquarium with one lucky person winning a seal encounter and entry.
UnderWater World encourages individuals to think about what the ocean means to them and what it has to offer all. They teach about the wealth of diverse and beautiful ocean creatures and how our daily actions affect them. World Oceans Day aims to promote the importance of protecting our ocean for the future. It is up to each, and every one of us to help ensure that our ocean is protected and conserved for future generations.
