This is one-day beginner meditation course uses basic Buddhist meditation techniques. However, it doesn't assume you are Buddhist or want to be; these practices benefit anyone who uses them.
Meditation is a tool for learning about our mind and how we relate to the world. It also benefits us on a physical level, helping to reduce stress and anxiety, and increase happiness.
The course will cover the purpose and benefits of meditation, posture, common obstacles and how to establish a regular practice. The day includes instruction, discussion and practice.
