The Volunteers in Policing program has recently celebrated 20 years of involvement with the Queensland Police Service.
To acknowledge the great work done by our volunteers based on the Sunshine Coast a morning tea was held.
With a number of our local volunteers in attendance, Inspector Miley presented certificates of acknowledgement and a commemorative pin to each.
The valuable work of our Volunteers in Policing (ViP’s) is of particular assistance in spreading crime prevention messages.
ViP’s regularly deliver presentations to various groups across the coast as well as assisting in many other crime prevention initiatives.
