The Palaszczuk Labor Government continues to move at a snail's pace to restore train services, as thousands of Queenslanders remain frustrated with a second-rate transport system.
Shadow Transport Minister Steve Minnikin said it's taken far too long for Annastacia Palaszczuk to get train services back on track.
"The Palaszczuk Labor Government is giving themselves a pat on the back today for restoring 32 train services," Mr. Minnikin said.
"But make no mistake, Labor's rail fail is still very much alive.
"32 services down, only 440 to go.
"Based on the current projections of 32 services being restored in two and a half years, it will take more than 36 years to give Queenslanders a fully restored schedule.
"What's even more staggering is Annastacia Palaszczuk and her embattled Transport Minister Mark Bailey can't give Queenslanders a definitive date of when Labor's rail fail will end.
"When it comes to fixing transport, you can't trust Labor.
"Only the LNP is committed to investing in transport, clean up Labor's mess and get South East Queensland moving again.
"Annastacia Palaszczuk's priorities are all wrong.
"Queenslanders deserve a world-class transport system, no matter where they live.
"Whether it's by train, bus, bike or car, the LNP will bust congestion by creating a reliable transport network."
