Detectives are investigating the armed robbery of a pharmacy in Caloundra this afternoon.
Around 5.15pm a man entered the business on Mayes Avenue and produced a knife before demanding medication from a male staff member.
The staff member compiled with the man's demands before the man fled the business on foot.
The male staff member was not physically injured during the robbery.
Investigations are continuing.
