Assault investigation, Nambour

Police are investigating after a cyclist spat on a female driver at Nambour last week.

Around 10.50am a 39-year-old female driver of a beige Ford Falcon was confronted by a male cyclist on Civic Way.

The man spat in the woman's face through the car window before riding away on Currie Street.

The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, aged in his 30s with facial hair and was wearing a dark t-shirt, shorts and thongs.

He was riding a lime green mountain bike.

Police have released vision of a man they wish to speak to in relation to the matter. Anyone who recognises the man depicted in the CCTV is urged to come forward.
