Assault, Mooloolaba

Published:

Police are seeking public assistance to help identify a man and a vehicle which was involved in the assault of a woman at Mooloolaba last year.

On December 11, at around 12.40pm the male driver of the ute verbally abused the male driver of a stationary vehicle  along Mooloolaba Esplanade.

He has then driven around to the passenger side of the vehicle and spat on a 37-year-old woman.

He is described as Caucasian, in his 40s, with a solid build, and facial stubble.

The vehicle (pictured), is described as a silver dual cab Mitsubishi Triton four wheel drive utility, with a distinctive dent on the left side of the tailgate, which was last seen driving away along Mooloolaba Esplanade onto River Esplanade.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the man is urged to contact police.
