Black Sorrows is anything but what their name suggests, and this high energy band promises fans some of the best beats and infectious fun on offer.  Best of all, is they are right here on the Sunshine Coast on Sunday 26 August, providing the perfect Sunday session entertainment.

Hardcore & enduring music legend, Joe Camilleri, heads this energetic band. It is Camilleri’s promise to audiences that no two shows will ever be the same and he delivers every time. Camilleri picks every song list for each show as he’s performing. Black Sorrows caters to every audience because their songs are hand-picked by the front man to suit the mood of the room.

Black Sorrows is one of the most enduring bands throughout Australia, with veteran musicians having been in the music industry well before their peers were even born! Joe Camilleri is soon to celebrate 55 years in music. During those 55 years Camilleri has done some truly incredible things including being inducted in to the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2007. Black Sorrows have also won the ARIA for Best Band, as well as selling more than 2 million albums worldwide.

Even after achieving phenomenal acclaim the band still tours. The all-consuming passion for their work spurs these talented performs to keep doing what they do best.

Lucky Sunshine Coast residents have a rare chance to catch this famous group as the Black Sorrows will be performing locally at Tewantin Noosa RSL.  Playing some of their many hits such as So Young, Hit  And Run, Shape I’m In, Hold On To Me, Harley and Rose, Chained To The Wheel, Never Let Me Go, The Chosen Ones, and so many more.

As if this terrific show was not enough, the Sunshine Coast’s beloved Shane Kells will be opening the show.  Head on over to the Tewantin Noosa RSL on Sunday 26th August from 1:30pm to catch Shane Kells and from 3pm to catch the Black Sorrows. Tickets are just $30 for members and $35 for non-members. This show only has 250 tickets available and is nearly sold out so if you are interested get in quick via Dial-n-Charge on 5447 1766.
