LNP Candidate for Buderim Brent Mickelberg today announced that if he was elected an LNP government would commit $300,000 in environment grants for two key locations in the electorate.
Mr Mickelberg said the LNP will provide $150,000 for better walking trails and visitor facilities at Buderim Forest Park and $150,000 to assist with development of additional visitor facilities in the Mountain Creek Conservation Area.
“Buderim Forest Park is a jewel in the crown of Buderim. It is a major environmental area located in the heart of Buderim and is also a significant tourist attraction,” Mr Mickelberg said.
“When door knocking in the Mountain Creek area over the last six months people consistently tell me Mountain Creek Conservation Area is a fantastic community asset which needs some TLC after being neglected by the current local member.”
“Anything that we can do to improve our environmental areas and tourist attractions will benefit our community as a whole”.
“A vote for Steve Dickson and One Nation will see a return of a do-nothing Labor Government which has the wrong priorities and has taken the people of Buderim for granted and not delivered.
“The LNP’s Buderim Forest Park and Mountain Creek Conservation Area project is all part of our plan to Build a Better Queensland by building a better Buderim.”
