The Marcoola Community Bank branch of Bendigo Bank has welcomed a new staff member, with Bronwyn Allan now on board. A coast resident since 1981, Bronwyn is a local who celebrates the daily opportunities of living in the best place in the world every day.

“I think we’re so lucky to be able to live and work in such a magic place,” Bronwyn shared.

“I worked in the banking industry for 10 years before starting a family. They’re still my world, but I’m loving my time with the team at Marcoola,” she said.

A walking enthusiast, Bronwyn is also a keen bird watcher and plane enthusiast, so working near the airport is an added bonus.

“Volunteering is also very big part of my life. Over the years I’ve volunteered in various community groups – The Salvation Army, The Hub Op Shop and schools and community aged care centres. Now, I’m very proud to be working with Bendigo Bank as they’re all helping strengthen communities. I think the best part about working here is seeing the difference where we live,” Bronwyn added.

“Kerryn, Mark, Stephen, Amy and Maria have been really welcoming. I’m enjoying getting to know our customers and some other locals. I think our ethos is amazing and the more support we receive at our Marcoola branch, the more we give back to the North Shore - it’s that simple,” she said.

Marcoola Community Bank branch manager, Kerryn Vincart said Bronwyn has been a welcome addition to the team.

“Bronwyn brings with her a strong understanding of our Community Banking message and we’re excited to add such a dynamic team member. We’re already seeing Bronwyn’s skill set in action as she continues to work closely with our local customers, families and businesses,” Kerryn said.

It turns out Bronwyn’s talents aren’t restricted to Marcoola branch. She’ll also be supporting the Cooroy, Tewantin and Pomona Community Bank branches when annual leave and relief with the teams are required. Kerryn said it’s another example of the value Bendigo Bank places in providing exceptional customer service.

“We aim to be Australia’s leading customer-connected bank, so making sure our customers always receive great service from our staff, no matter where they bank on the coast is part of that. Everyone has to bank somewhere, so why not bank with a local bank that’s giving locals real say in their future?” Kerryn concluded.

Marcoola Community Bank branch is open 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday and you can call the branch directly on 5448 8582.
