Great investigative work has been paw-formed by Sergeant Christopher Mair of Nambour Police Station, who recently reunited pet cat Pickles with her owner.

Sunshine Coast Police recently received a report in relation to four-year-old Pickles, who had been allegedly taken from her home.

The owner told police that at first she thought Pickles had wondered off, but a short time later she allegedly received information that Pickles had been purposefully taken.

Sergeant Mair made use of his investigative skills where he was able to track down Pickles and return her home to the excited owner.

“This was a great outcome, I was able to locate Pickles and also using technology micro-chip to identify her owner,” Sergeant Mair said.

As a reminder have your loved pets micro-chipped, this is a valuable tool to help identify their rightful owners.
